We collect only what we need in order to respond to you.

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive personal data through this website, health information, financial account details, government identifiers or similar. Please do not include such information in a form message.

3. Why we are allowed to process it

We rely on the following bases, depending on the situation:

• Your consent, given by ticking the consent box on a form, for responding to enquiries and for sending insight emails.
• Performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one, for proposals, support and engagement delivery.
• Legitimate interests, for maintaining the security and integrity of this website, preventing abuse and keeping records of enquiries.
• Legal obligation, where we are required to retain records for tax, corporate or regulatory purposes.

4. How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal
• To provide support under an existing service agreement
• To assess a job application
• To send insight emails where you have subscribed
• To protect this website against automated abuse and spam
• To meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use it to train machine-learning models.

5. Who we share it with

Personal data submitted through this website is accessible to the Acmez employees who need it to respond to you. Beyond that, it may be handled by:

• Our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its logs
• Our email service provider, which transmits and stores the resulting emails
• Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose

Each provider processes data on our instructions under a contract. We do not transfer personal data outside India except where a provider's infrastructure requires it, in which case appropriate safeguards apply.

6. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement: up to 24 months, then deleted
• Enquiries that lead to an engagement: for the life of the engagement and as required for contractual and tax records afterwards
• Job applications: up to 12 months from the close of the recruitment cycle, unless you ask us to keep them longer or delete them sooner
• Subscription email addresses: until you unsubscribe
• Server logs: up to 90 days
• Rate-limiting records: up to 2 hours

7. How we protect it

This website is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery, automated abuse and header injection. Uploaded CVs are validated, renamed and stored outside the publicly accessible part of the server. Access to submitted data is limited to employees who need it, and our internal systems use multi-factor authentication and least-privilege access.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

• Confirm what personal data of yours we hold, and provide a copy
• Correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
• Delete data we no longer need
• Withdraw consent, which stops further processing based on it
• Restrict or object to particular processing
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity

Write to info@acmez.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant data protection authority.

9. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
