What these are
EyeBiz POS Solutions is a product in the ordinary sense: built in 2011 for distribution businesses, deployed, and maintained ever since. It was the first thing this business shipped, and the systems we later built for healthcare, retail, logistics and other sectors grew out of what it taught us.
The rest of what follows are accelerators rather than licensed products. Over years of building similar systems, certain foundations recur: a workflow engine, a document processing pipeline, an integration layer. Rather than rebuild them for each client, we maintain them properly and use them as starting points.
The practical effect is that an engagement begins with working, tested software instead of an empty repository, which shortens delivery and reduces risk. What we then build on top is specific to you, and the delivered system belongs to you.
Acmez builds and maintains EyeBiz POS Solutions, a point-of-sale and distribution management product first released in 2011 and still in service. Alongside it, Acmez maintains a set of accelerators (workflow, document processing, AI and integration foundations) used as starting points within client engagements rather than sold as licensed products. For accelerator-based work there is no per-seat licence fee, the delivered system belongs to the client, and it does not depend on Acmez to keep running.
The range
Point of sale and distribution management for distributors
The first product Acmez shipped, built in 2011 for distribution businesses: point-of-sale billing, stock and batch control across locations, purchase and sales order handling, customer and supplier ledgers, and the reporting a distributor needs to see margin by product and by route. It remains in service and continues to be maintained.
Modular ERP, CRM and HRMS foundation
A configurable base platform covering finance, procurement, inventory, sales and human resources, extended per client rather than rebuilt from scratch. Shortens delivery for organisations whose requirements are substantially standard with specific exceptions.
Configurable approvals, routing and escalation
A workflow and rules layer that business administrators configure without a code release: approval chains, thresholds, delegation, escalation and service-level tracking, with a complete audit trail.
Capture, classify, extract and validate
A document processing pipeline covering multi-channel intake, classification, field extraction, validation against master data and a human review queue for low-confidence results.
Governed foundations for enterprise AI
Shared retrieval, model access, evaluation, guardrail, logging and cost-control components so each AI use case does not rebuild the same groundwork. Includes an evaluation harness and audit logging by default.
Interface layer over systems of record
API gateway, transformation, routing and monitoring components used to replace accumulated point-to-point connections with a governed, observable interface layer.
Offline-first mobile operations
