Industries we serve
Hospitality and Tourism
Reservation, operations and guest engagement systems that keep availability accurate and service consistent.
Sector challenges
The pressures organisations in this sector face
Stated as we encounter them in delivery, rather than as generic sector commentary.
Channel and rate complexity
Inventory sold through many channels at different rates is difficult to keep consistent.
Seasonal demand swings
Staffing and capacity planning must respond to sharply variable demand.
Fragmented guest data
Preferences and history spread across booking, property and loyalty systems.
Operational coordination
Housekeeping, maintenance and front office coordination often relies on radio and paper.
Technology opportunities
Where technology realistically helps
Not everything that is technically possible is worth doing. These are the areas where we consistently see a defensible return in this sector.
Unified availability
One inventory position across direct, agent and aggregator channels.
Digital guest journey
Online check-in, digital keys, requests and feedback through a guest application.
Operations coordination
Housekeeping and maintenance task management with live room status.
Revenue analytics
Rate, occupancy and channel-cost analysis supporting pricing decisions.

Does Acmez work with hospitality and tourism organisations?
Yes. Reservation, operations and guest engagement systems that keep availability accurate and service consistent. Engagements run as fixed-scope projects, dedicated teams, offshore development centres or managed services.
Security considerations
Sector-specific security requirements
Controls we design into systems for this sector as standard, not as an optional hardening exercise afterwards.
- Protection of guest identity and payment information
- Access control by property, department and role
- Secure handling of identity documents collected at check-in
- Guest network segregation from operational systems
- Retention and disposal policy for guest records
Regulatory context
Compliance considerations
Hospitality businesses in India collect guest identity information subject to state police reporting requirements and, for foreign nationals, Form C reporting to immigration authorities. Guest personal data falls under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and payment handling under PCI DSS. Our systems support structured collection, reporting and retention; compliance remains the operator's responsibility.
An important limitation
Acmez builds systems that support compliance obligations and provides the technical evidence assessors ask for. We do not issue certifications, and we make no claim that Acmez or a client holds any particular certification. Regulatory compliance remains the responsibility of the operating organisation.
